Welcome! Our store has been in business since 2003. We are a REAL country quilting store. Here on our website, we want to provide you with help finding us, and we'll add more content here as time allows. For the latest news and to preview of our newest products & fabrics, check out our News & Sales page. Please note: if you're planning to visit us, please bring cash or a check book. We don't accept debit or credit cards as it raises the cost of doing business and we're working hard to keep our prices reasonable.

Raney House Quilts is owned by Madilyn Dunlap. With Darlene Dubicki as our resident long-arm quilter, we offer everything for the modern quiltmaker in a delightful and authentic downhome atmosphere. In addition to fabrics, patterns, notions, and a world-class front porch for non-quilting husbands and children, we have  animals, a down-home atmosphere, and a view that just can't be beat. Miss Lucy

Our fabric lines include many current manufacturers' lines, a big collection of blacks and whites, a variety of charm packs, fat quarters, and jelly rolls. Every Autumn, we attend the International Quilt Market in Houston and order the latest new items we find there that we think our customers will enjoy. So we have the best of the country with big city resources at our disposal! How 'bout this quilt by Pat Schneider featuring a Moda cowgirl fabric?! Raney House was built in 1907 and has been in the same family ever since. It has always been a working farm, and still is. Many generations have been here, leaving their marks on the house and the property. All the barns are original and still functioning. Madilyn's husband, Bob, remembers having sleepovers at the house as a young boy with his cousins, and they slept under layers and layers of quilts to keep warm in the winter. We have original pictures of the place that we are going to work into a memory quilt. When the back porch was replaced, workers uncovered two porches, one built on top of the other. We also found the original pump that ladies of the house used for their household water needs. The original outhouse is still standing, but our customers are welcome to use our indoor plumbing!

We're here to meet all your quiltin' needs So, now that you've found us, can you stay away? Here are detailed maps to get you here. We look forward to visitin' with you!
